We’re not too sure just how long the Transformers craze is going to last, but if you’re still into gigantic robots that decided to make our earth as their little playground, then the steampunk Optimus Prime you see here is primed (pardon the pun) to be a bestseller. Made by the Encline Design team, this steampunk model comes in an extremely detailed design, and Optimus’ vehicle mode would be the steam engine from IDW’s comic-book, Hearts of Steel. It won’t just be any model though, since it will come equipped with functional lights as well as wheels that roll, not to mention a detachable trailer which can double up as a secondary weapon just like the trailer that comes with his famouse firetruck mode.

You might remember Clocky, an alarm clock that rolls away and hides the moment it goes off. Which leaves you to run off and chase it down before you can shut it down. Well apparently this is Clocky’s tech saavy brother. Instead of rolling away, this hops off of your nightstand and rolls away. Just like Clocky you’ll be stuck chasing it down in order to make the alarm stop. This clock even has a built-in microphone so that you can record your own sounds to wake up with. It means college students can still wake up to the sound of their mother’s voice. If you really don’t want to feel that close to your mother you can also upload MP3s to it. Tocky comes in orange, aqua, kiwi and white. For a little extra cash you can get a skin 2 pack for the clock. You can purchase it for $79 through Nanda Home .

The tragic thing about computers is that they always so silently broadcast the time. It used to be that clocks were works of art in both sound and looks. Now there is just a small digital clock on the very bottom corner of your screen. It’s not exactly awe inspiring. Instead of settling for that, now you can turn your computer clock into something much more grand. Just make one of these USB bronze bell striking clocks and you’ll always be able to hear the time. Every hour the bronze bell rings out and even once at the half hour mark, just like the big cuckoo clocks. Thankfully the person that created this was kind enough to post a guide on how to make your very own. That way everyone in your office can enjoy all of those classic sounds that clocks used to come with. I’m sure your co-workers will just love you.

A ceiling rose is one of those things I never really thought I’d see in my own house. I just always doubted that I’d own anything that would already have them and I really doubt I’d make any effort to find one. However, as good as this clock looks it does make it tempting to change that thought and get this Ceiling Rose Clock. It’s made of lightweight strong cellular resin and measures 40cm in diameter. It tells the time just like every other clock in the world, it just happens to make time reading look a bit more Victorian. This was designed by Adam Kay who strives to create items that not only look great, but have function as well. You can purchase this clock for £47 or about $69 through Rockett St George . This is one concept design that would probably baffle your guests if they happened to see it while the light was off. When the light isn’t on it just looks like a big hunk of wood with a mysterious cord coming out of the back. The true colors of the light aren’t revealed until you happen to flip it on. The dimensions of the lamp are completely unknown, so for all I know it’s 3 feet tall or 3 inches tall. It appears that it’s actually a pretty decent size though. On the inside of the Cub Lamp is an etched on leaf design. This was designed by Julian Robin and there’s no word if it’ll be headed towards mass production or ever be created into something purchasable at all
