You might remember Clocky, an alarm clock that rolls away and hides the moment it goes off. Which leaves you to run off and chase it down before you can shut it down. Well apparently this is Clocky’s tech saavy brother. Instead of rolling away, this hops off of your nightstand and rolls away. Just like Clocky you’ll be stuck chasing it down in order to make the alarm stop. This clock even has a built-in microphone so that you can record your own sounds to wake up with. It means college students can still wake up to the sound of their mother’s voice. If you really don’t want to feel that close to your mother you can also upload MP3s to it. Tocky comes in orange, aqua, kiwi and white. For a little extra cash you can get a skin 2 pack for the clock. You can purchase it for $79 through Nanda Home .

Golfing is tricky business, you never know when someone is going to try to make off with your balls. To prevent those pesky golf ball thieves or anyone that might try to steal your whole golf bag you can pick up one of these handy little Golf Bag Alarm Systems. No one will ever suspect the funny looking golf ball can sound an alarm loud enough to put some serious strain on your ears. This alarm system consists of two parts, a golf ball and a key fob. You leave the golf ball inside of your bag and then when the motion sensing ball notices some serious movement, the alarm will sound. Not only will an alarm go off on the ball, but your key fob will start to vibrate and beep. It’ll also not be very happy if you happen to get the key fob over 30 yards away from the ball. Which that will help you realize when someone is driving off with your bag. You can pick up the set for $49.95 . This has to be the strangest combination gadget ever and yet I could see it becoming very handy. Instead of waking up to an obnoxious beep, you could wake up to that beep noise and quickly recover with a nice hot cup of tea. Of course maybe you should keep away from the chamomile, it’s probably best not to do anything that might help you fall back to sleep. If you like instant coffee instead of tea, it can do that as well. Should you be a tea fan though it’ll require 2 of your favorite tea bags and your own cup and saucer set. You just put either your mix or tea bags into the teapot the night before and fill up the Teasmade with cold water. A few minutes before the alarm it’ll boil the water and then the alarm will go off after the water is finished. You can purchase it for £59.99 or about $88 through MenKind

Somehow I doubt there are a whole lot of people that don’t do that morning stretch. It loosens up all of those muscles after a full night of a very small amount of movement. Well this clock actually uses your morning stretch to shut off the alarm. Which is a whole lot better than stretching while you have to listen to beeping or slamming on the clock and then stretching afterward. There are arms inside of the pillow, in order to make the alarm stop you have to pull on those arms in the same way you’d usually stretch yourself out. There is both a child and an adult version of this. Concealed just inside the edge of the pillow is a small clock to show you the time. That means you don’t need a nightstand with a way too bright clock and you can sleep in peace. Unfortunately this is just a design so far, but perhaps Seung-hee Ryu’s design will get picked up by one of the many alarm clock obsessed manufacturers.

For an alarm clock to have a built-in radio is nowhere near something new. It’s actually probably one of the most common combinations out there. However, this clock radio takes things a step further and allows for you to personalize your alarm clock. It has a photo display to make sure that you stay close to your family, even while you’re away traveling.

I’ve seen various concept designs that have silent ways of waking up the user. This one is actually something you can purchase online. It is a bit bulky in comparison to the sleek concept designs, but at least it’ll allow you to wake up without waking anyone else up. It’d be especially great for brand new parents that don’t want their alarm clock to wake up the baby. The device can either be strapped to your wrist or put underneath your pillow. Then when it’s that time to wake up the device will begin to vibrate until you wake up. You just shut it off like you normally would. You can also set it to beep instead for those occasions when you need a normal alarm clock. The clock display is a backlit LED display. You can normally purchase the clock for £14.99 or about $25 through Thumbs Up UK . Although right now it’s out of stock.

When you’re traveling, it’s always a gamble relying on an alarm clock you’ve never used before. You could always set an alarm on your cellphone, but I’ve owned cellphones before that didn’t have the most reliable alarm clocks in them. Well now you can own a clock that is easy to set and you’d know is perfectly trustworthy. It’s also made for travel to make your life easier. You can set the time and the alarm clock all by your voice. Just tell it what time you want it to set the alarm for and you’re all set for the next morning. It’d be nice if it detected swear words and automatically shut off when you started yelling at the alarm in the morning. However, it doesn’t take the voice detection quite that far. It also tells you the current temperature and has a few different alarm sounds to choose from. You can purchase the clock for $24.99 through Moshi Lifestyle .
