Admittedly I greatly enjoy cooking and I’ve started to become a slight appliance addict. One thing I’ve noticed is that most of them out there are practically the same. This line from Bodium is a breath of fresh air in comparison to the rest. It’s perfect for women that prefer tough looking kitchen appliances or for guys that want that power tool feel in the kitchen. The whole set of them is wrapped up tight in a nice coat of rubber and are decked out in little dots to make them easier to grip. One thing that is bound to catch most people’s attention is the large selection of different colors. Some companies are hopping on the color bandwagon, but they still seem to be in the minority. The new line will include two different electric water kettles, a hand mixer, handheld blender, electric juicer, blade grinder and burr grinder. You can expect to see these popping up as of this coming fall. Source: SlipperyBrick Cool Gift Idea: Digital Picture Frames , check out our reviews.

Canon has come up with a brand new REALiS SX7 Mark II Multimedia LCOS projector for the masses, where it will merge the award-winning features of REALiS projectors alongside a rather impressive 4,000 lumens of brightness as well as a Photo Image Mode that will assist users with advanced color management and adjustments for ambient lighting conditions. Under the Photo Image Mode, users will be able to make changes as well as improve the look and feel of the content being projected. This would mean changing the Color Level and Color Temperature functions, alongside the capability of fine-tuning both the intensity of colors and the color temperature by selecting from easy-to-use presets.

If there is one franchise that shouldn’t be overdone, it is Ghostbusters . I mean, it had one glorious film in 1984 that is still funny, though the special effects look fake

Pentax’s K-7 digital camera isn’t something that is new to the market, as it was released a while ago but the folks over at Japan decided that a splash of silver is always welcome, hence the Pentax K-7 Limited Silver edition digital camera. As with any device which falls under the limited edition category, you can be sure that quantities will be limited, and the same applies to the Pentax K-7. It will be limited to a mere 1,000 sets worldwide, so collectors as well as hobbyists who want something different or special might want to give this Limited Silver edition run a go, otherwise picking one up in the second hand market or on an online auction site is going to cost you much, much more sometime down the road

It’s not enough to have a hot shower, no, it’s time to take things up a notch. No, instead you need your own personal light show to go along with your off key shower singing. It’d be like your own personal spotlight, making you feel all important. Even if the rest of your household gets a serious headache every single time you take a shower.

Valentine’s Day is coming up quick and in light of that here’s one more cheesy heart-shaped gadget to go along with the lovey little holiday. This tiny heart will hold onto your iPod and play your favorite music for everyone to hear. Whether they like it or not. They even come in other colors besides pinks and reds. Alright, so it’s only one other color, but it’s something other than pink. As far as colors go this comes in black, red, dark pink and pale pink. The sweet heart-shaped dock will work with your iPod Classic, iPod Nano and even the iPod Touch. Beyond that it’s pretty much your average run of the mill iPod dock. Except this one is in the shape of a heart. Unfortunately it might be a little difficult to get one of these since it’s straight from Japan .

We’ve discussed mind-controlled technology before, such as the Star Wars Force Trainer . A Toronto-based company named Interaxon has used mind control technology for how you really want to use it: to turn on the lights. Interaxon (see video after the jump) is having a special display of this technology for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

Mushrooms have managed to becomes slightly famous. In part due to..well..the drug version of course. Then the type that you run into to make Mario grow. Actually, they are both pretty similar. This mushroom doesn’t look like a cheap plastic mushroom though, with this you can pretend to be chic and modern. When in reality you just love it because of the hours you’ve spent chasing mushrooms just to make you a little taller. Hopefully in virtual form only. People look at you strange when you start chasing after mushrooms in the woods, because you think they’ll make you grow. This pretty designer lamp comes in white as well as black. Sorry no brightly colored ones with white polka dots. This color makes it blend in with grown up décor, which eventually it’s probably best to make the switch towards. You can purchase the lamp for $1,750 AUD or about $1,543 USD. So you’re going to have to be a very well off Mario addict.

A lot of baby monitors just look like every other electronic device on the market. If you’d like one that’s going to blend in within the baby’s room then these little cameras would do a whole lot better. These bright flowers actually look like they belong in a kids room. Plus they have the benefits of giving you a visual of your baby as well as making it possible to hear when the baby is crying. The camera will work even when the room has gone dark. There are two different portable wireless cameras that can clip onto the edge of the crib or the edge of a shelf. You can then watch the color video on the rechargeable receiver. The cameras come in a two pack and it appears they come in two different colors, but I don’t believe you can pick those two colors. You can purchase the set for $134.99 through Amazon . If you have USB devices coming out of your ears, then you might need a hub to help you out with that. This hub manages to keep a full 24 ports available for you to jam your USB related items into. For the average person you might have to get extremely creative in order to fill up all of those ports. However, I’m sure there are others out there that are fully capable of finding a use for a hub of this size.
