Protect 486 puts a protective shell around a scooter

This is from designer Marc Graells Ballve, and, as you may have guessed, it is some anti-theft device for scooters. Clearly, the designer gets his inspiration from nature with the armadillo as the armor can retract like that animal’s armor. I have no idea how heavy this armor is, but it looks pretty light, almost like plastic.

Kevin Costner is trying to prevent Oilworld

I suppose that words are insufficient to describe the environmental damage of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico that is still going on. I’ve heard a lot about all the failed attempts to fight the spill, but there is a machine that can supposedly extract 97 percent of the oil from the water. This machine is being promoted by none other than Kevin Costner.

Ceramic Swear Bank helps you save your extra !@#$ing cash

The Sandford police department from the film Hot Fuzz would definitely appreciate this particular device. Some of you might remember the “swear jar” that the clueless cops kept there, and the terrific scene where Nick Angel (Simon Pegg) fills it up when he vents his frustration against the other officers’ ignorance

Power Loader Exoskeleton can help you lift 220 pounds

I’m sure you all remember the classic scene in Aliens where Sigourney Weaver enters the room wearing that bulky, yellow, and yet powerful Power Loader suit and heroically exclaims: “Get away from her, you b___h!” Man, did that make the Mother Alien say: “oh, s__t!” I remember reading a screenwriting book that talked about how awkward that scene would have been if that Power Loader not been given proper introduction in an earlier scene.
