We covered the official announcement of the Kinect at E3 , and I would imagine that game designers are going nuts to create new worlds of interactivity for Xbox 360 gamers. Peter Molyneux, designer of famed video games franchises like Black and White and Fable has created a new game called Milo and Kate, which crosses into a very realistic realm of gaming. In the game, the player gets to “mentor” a boy named Milo or a girl named Kate.

There are very few headsets out there that won’t make you look like a total dork. Sure, you might be seriously creaming the competition in a game, but you’re still going to look like a bit of a dweeb with that headset firmly on your head. Thankfully, there are the occasional headsets created that actually look pretty cool. This Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is one that might just help you look a little tougher while you’re wearing it. As far as the sound goes, it’s probably pretty decent. However, headsets and headphones are just one of those things no matter what the statistics state, it’s just better to test them out for yourself. Hopefully you can get a buddy to buy them first and then you can find out the verdict on them. These were just recently released in the US and can be picked up for $149. This is one of those gadgets that you’d have to be a bit on the goth side in order for this to work. After all, if you’re in a business type attire then a chunky black cross is going to appear just a bit on the strange side. Which would make the gadget absolutely pointless since its whole purpose is to be stealthy and catch people in the act.

Or so that is what it is supposed to do. The Mionix NAOS 3200 gaming mouse is the latest bad boy in town, where it is constructed out of purported “carefully selected high-end components.” Not too sure what those components are, but perhaps it is some sort of latent metal that might help provide a faster reaction in your neurons to shoot your opponent before he/she can register which button to press?

I remember my first Game Boy well – it came with a free Tetris Game Pak, and boy did I go through hours upon hours of gaming, neglecting my diet as well as studies only to be severely reprimanded by parents when my school grades were released. After that, I had sporadic run ins with the Game Boy, but fast forward a decade or so, and I was finally working, so I cobbled together my own meagre savings to purchase a Game Boy Advance instead – now how about that! This mod is interesting in a way where it uses a Game Boy’s chassis to store a GBA’s innards within, which means you will be able to play GBA, GBC and GB carts

The Wii very quickly became the gaming console of choice for a great deal of people that would never consider themselves to be gamers. Along with the console came a whole lot of almost pointless accessories for people to buy. Sure, there were on occasion a few useful items, but a lot of them were just to make a quick buck off of not so well informed newcomers to gaming. This leans a little towards the pointless gadgets, but it could actually be justified. Especially if you’ve started to enjoy the feel of the Wiimote. It’s just an electronic device to work with your PC, bringing the Wii feel to your computer. It’s pitched towards those that do PowerPoint presentations on a regular basis. It works just like a normal mouse, but it also has some additional button controls, as well as motion activated page switching. The Domyos Interactive System is targeting a whole new type of audience of non-gamers as it doesn’t require any console to plug it into, but fits right into any television set or display.
