The iPhone 4 antenna issue has put 3rd party gadget companies into a frenzy. Apple’s screw up means that they have an opportunity to profit off of it with accessories promising to solve the problem. However, the ones created that were only capable of taking care of that singular problem might not do so well now that Apple has started to ship free bumpers. This particular accessory was a little smarter about things though. It can actually be used for more than just the iPhone 4. Just pop your phone onto the wrist strap and you easily have it within sight. It also means women that happen to be lacking pockets that day can have another alternative besides carrying the phone in your purse. The WristOffice isn’t the solution for everyone, but it could make it easier to use a smart phone when your hands are also busy doing other things. Of course this little accessory still doesn’t exactly make texting while driving entirely safe

Paul Frank is always more than happy to offer some kind of case for pretty much all of the iPods and iPhones out there. Which makes it no surprise that they’d create another accessory that makes sure to nestle your iPod close to Julius. This goofy looking monkey apparently has a love for any and all iPods, because he is compatible with absolutely all of them. Of course they don’t actually say if it’ll work with the iPhone though. The Julius Dance Machine is soon to hit the Paul Frank stores, to be more specific, they’re looking at sometime in July. The details on this are just a little skimpy, but to give you somewhat of an idea, the iPod will sit in his lap. It’ll last for 6 hours from a single charge and features a 3.5mm stereo mini plug. iTwinge iPhone Keyboard might make typing easier

Most people I’ve talked to are just fine with the keyboard that comes with their iPhone. However, there are always a few that have a hard time with that sort of thing. Especially if you have the tendency to be a little clumsy with typing things out on the iPhone keyboard. Really the iPhone is pretty good about making it user friendly as far as typing goes, but this iTwinge keyboard is one alternative. It might make things a little easier for some, or at least more comfortable. It does give you back the feel of a real keyboard. It might even make it possible for you to type things out faster, which is always nice. In order to use it just plug it in and turn it on. As of now the keyboard isn’t out, but you can expect to see it being shipped out as of November 19th. Right now you can pre-oder the iTwinge for $29.99 . For those interested, it’ll work with both the iPhone 3G and 3G S.

Nokia’s recently announced handset, the Nokia X6, looks set to take over the XpressMusic line by offering you up to 35 hours of continuous music playback before requiring a trip to the nearest power outlet. In addition, the 32GB of internal memory alongside a memory expansion slot clearly places this on par with the iPhone when it comes to being a portable audio player, barring the user experience, of course. It does claw some ground by including a slick 3.2″ finger touch interface though, boasting a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio that is optimized for photos, videos and browsing

Nokia 5230 the most affordable Nokia touchscreen phone yet

Finnish phone manufacturer Nokia is really late to the touchscreen phone market, with their 5800 not really setting the stage ablaze since its release, although it is by no means a major flop, doing quite well in certain markets around the world but never really showing off any capability of going anywhere near the iPhone’s dominance.

If you’re still not satisfied with how many items stay on your desktop and you happen to own one of the very sexy Macs, you’re in luck. You can pick up this tiny shelf to put onto the back of the monitor. Since it is on the back, it won’t be seen quite so much, so it’ll cut down on all that clutter. Which with most people seems to be an issue at their desk, myself included.

How to Deposit a Check using an iPhone

As a freelance writer, I receive most of the payments for my services online, but every once in a while, I get a check in the mail and have to go to the bank to deposit it. It would appear that USAA bank is removing any reason for me to go to the bank with an iPhone app that allows me to deposit my checks virtually. All I need to do is take a picture of the front of my check with the iPhone, then turn the check over and snap the back of it.
