Companies are always trying to find new innovative ways for you to carry an iPod outside of your pockets. Some of them have looked a bit on the odd side. This Quiver actually walks in a gray area. Sure, it’s a bit different, but it actually offers some volume control directly on the shoulder strap. That at least gives it a little bit more of an edge. It’d be nice to have something to carry your small gadgets within that actually does something besides hold onto them. This will control volume and even let you skip between songs. It even has a headphone management system to help you keep things organized. It features stretch fabric that repels water and still allows for the material to breathe. It’s designed for everything from walking around town to more vigorous activities like jogging and biking. You can purchase it for $84.99 .

Holding up your iPod while you’re seated with a desk in front of you can be pretty tiring on your hand(s) after a couple of hours into the movie, and the constant shifting does not make for a decent viewing experience. However, getting one of those iPod holders does not seem worth it to you, so what do you do next? Enter the DIY Fork Head iPhone stand – this fantastic idea uses unwanted forks and spoons to get the job done, but you will need steady hands to shape it accordingly, and we would highly recommend encasing your iPod in some sort of protective shield

Most of us who spend plenty of time at the gym (or basically are involved in an active outdoor lifestyle) and tune in to their favorite songs over an iPod might just find the Magneat to be just what they need – it helps you enjoy a wired listening experience without having the cord getting all tangled up in the most unexpected places. Of course, since it relies on the magic of magnets, you would have to make sure that your connected portable media player is flash memory-based and does not run off hard drives, since there is always a chance of having all data on your hard drive erased. One thing I really didn’t see coming was an iPod dock combined with a lava lamp. I suppose it shouldn’t surprise me. It seems like everyone is trying to combine iPod docks in strange new ways, so a lava lamp is only the next logical step. It’ll make this dock a hit within any frat house and any teenager’s bedroom. If you’re into lava lamps this would make it possible to stare at a glowing blob while you listen to your favorite music. This dock is compatible with all iPods except for the iPod Touch, so if you have an older iPod you’re in luck. It has a total of 8 docking station insert adapters to allow for the different sizes. The dock will charge up your iPod all the while you get to enjoy the LED light show. The light show itself will phase along with the music, from changing colors to pulsing along with the beat. You can purchase the docking station for £69.99 or about $100 Source: CraziestGadgets Check out the Coolest Gadgets 2008 Gift Guides , Christmas shopping made easy. If you’re pushing things until the last minute for this Valentine’s Day here is one more heart-shaped gadget. It’s one of the larger heart-shaped docks out there, so it’s bound to make a lasting impression. I’d make sure that your significant other has a thing for sappy sweet gadgets before spending the money on this dock. If pink is their favorite color though, you’ll have it made with this one.

This tiny heart will hold onto your iPod and play your favorite music for everyone to hear. Whether they like it or not. They even come in other colors besides pinks and reds. Alright, so it’s only one other color, but it’s something other than pink. As far as colors go this comes in black, red, dark pink and pale pink. The sweet heart-shaped dock will work with your iPod Classic, iPod Nano and even the iPod Touch. Beyond that it’s pretty much your average run of the mill iPod dock. Except this one is in the shape of a heart. Unfortunately it might be a little difficult to get one of these since it’s straight from Japan .

Another Heart Shaped Gadget For Valentine’s Day
It’s just before February and grocery stores are stocking up on heart-shaped boxes of chocolates. Well for those of you that enjoy your heart-shaped gadgets instead of chocolates, here’s one more. Despite that on the outside this looks like nothing more than a sweetly made jewelry box, it’s actually an iPod dock to play your music out loud with. The Jewelry Box Speaker may not have space for any jewelry, but it’ll make sure to keep your favorite tunes cranked. It actually comes from a Japanese company, Marubeni Infotec. The dock will work with 4th gen iPods, as well as the iPod Mini, Nano, Classic, Touch and the iPhone 3G/3GS. The speakers are 2W by 2ch. It has heart-shaped buttons to keep control of your iPod and even a mirror on the top to check your makeup with. It will be released at the end of next month within Japan for $110. Sometimes it seems like there are far more accessories for the iPod Nano than any of the other versions of the iPod. Whether or not that’s actually the case is debatable, but here’s one more to add to the list. I’m not exactly saying this addition is a good thing, but it does give you more options when you’re trying to find that perfect Nano accessory. With this you’ll have headphones and a way to hold your Nano in place all in one gadget. The headphones have a small pocket that will hold your Nano directly on your head. It’s designed for 2nd and 3rd generations. The Nano plugs in wirelessly, but any other MP3 players will have to use a connecting cord that is included upon purchasing. The lightweight headphones might be a bit too bulky for some. However, if you like the size of them you can pick yourself up a set for $17.99 through the Skymall . When the iPhone was first released a few years ago, the whole world was abuzz with anticipation on how Apple would be able to an above-average cellphone experience to the masses, and I must admit, we weren’t disappointed. Heck, expectations were so high that folks even queued up outside the store for a couple of days before its release, willing to fork out a whopping $599 outright for the handset (and that is even before one takes into consideration the monthly fees). Well, the iPhone has certainly come a long way since its release with incremental upgrades and updates introduced along the way, and it seems as though this smartphone is able to do just about anything (save for stemming pollution around the world).
