When you’re decorating something with icing you’re usually stuck with some squishy bag to write with, which just feels a little unnatural. If it feels unnatural, then your writing and decorations are not going to be nearly as pretty. Now you could get used to that squishy bag, but only if you do that sort of thing often. For those that don’t there is this Frosting Deco Pen. There are all sorts of colored pens out there, but personally I think I’d choose a pen with frosting in it over the rest. The pen is battery powered and comes with 3 refillable frosting cartridges. Don’t worry, you can just use normal frosting from the store. The Swiss designed pen does cost a little more than your average pen, but it gets filled with frosting. That makes it far better. You can pick up the Kuhn Rikon Frosting Deco Pen for $30 . Every so often you come across something online that just sets off a few red flags. You’re constantly having small facts thrown at you in articles and through random research that you do online to settle silly debates. Yet every so often, you get that inkling of a hint that something seems fishy. Although I’m all about this concept design, I really doubt parts of their facts. Either way though, having something to keep your kitchen sanitary could be handy. “The research” showed 10 areas that were bad as far as bacteria goes, such as a sponge, dishcloth, chopping board and refrigerator. They then go on to say that the dishcloth and cutting board are difficult to sanitize and I’d have to disagree there. A cutting board you just have to know the right chemical to use and a dishcloth just gets thrown in the laundry. It’s entirely possible though that they know something I don’t, but none of my quick google runs have revealed any red flags over dishcloths. However, if you just want a different way to clean flat objects, then this is a perfectly reasonable choice. When it’s working it feeds the object through the machine and cleans as well as dries it. Being still a concept from Chang Shin Gwak, this isn’t up for purchase just yet though. Source: Yanko Check out the Coolest Gadgets 2008 Gift Guides , Christmas shopping made easy

I’ve never had a thought to buy a connector that would allow a hose to be hooked up to the indoor faucet. Yet it actually would open up a whole lot of possibilities. Although I can’t see much use for a hose indoors, but having a hose that could offer warm or hot water could be handy for various tasks though. One of the big ones is giving the dog a bath. I’ve never liked giving a dog a bath indoors, but it seems mean to make them shiver in ice cold water. If the weather is warm enough you could shove a hose through the doorway that pumps warm water into a bin large enough to hold hot water for the dog. There are other possibilities of course, you only have to think them up. You can purchase one of the connectors for $9.95 through Exterior Accents . This toaster is definitely making my toaster look bad. I really thought I was doing pretty good, mine even has buttons for bagels and frozen items. Sadly it turns out that my shiny metal toaster is getting behind on the times thanks to T-Fal feeling the need to show off. Not only do they have the buttons I adore, but they also have added an LCD screen. They have the usual buttons, but they have some added ones that could come in handy. Things like defrost and reheat are a little new to me. Although I can’t really think of an instance that I’ve needed a reheat function. The toaster shown here is $34.95 through Cooking, but that’s not the only Digital Toaster that T-Fal has fixed up. They also have a longer one that will accommodate 4 slices of bread and it’s not much more. To get the larger one it’s only $39.95 .

Since you cook in the kitchen, you might as well have food themed decorations. These cans will light your kitchen all the while looking just a little vintage. I don’t know what it is about a Campbell’s soup can, but it does have a vintage feel to it. Plus, these are recycled, so you’ll have prevented a few cans from making their way to the city dump.

I have often voiced my love for simple gadgets. It’s far more popular to have a gadget that just does it all, but every now and then it just gets tiring. Sometimes you just want to use a simple device that always simply follows through on its chosen task. There’s no 20 page booklet or numerous online tutorials to tell you how to run it, it just works. Tapi is another one of those simple devices.

This Nobili Spa Sun Lamp isn’t just another cheap faucet packed full of LED lights that indicate when the water is piping hot. Instead it’s a kitchen sink that’ll make washing dishes and food a whole lot easier. Along with offering you a nice strong stream of water, you’ll get some added lighting right on the end of the faucet. With this you’ll never have to wonder if you’ve missed a spot on one of your pots or pans. The faucet pulls out just like your average sprayer would. Although a light directly over the sink helps a great deal, you still have problems with shadows where you’re left tilting pots this way and that. This sprayer could get up close and you’ll never be left with a dark corner, especially since it features a whopping 30 LED lights. Hopefully the faucet isn’t too horribly expensive, but right now it doesn’t appear that they’re listing a price. If you’re a big time race fan or just drool in envy over every Ferrari ever made, then you might want to check out this espresso machine. It’ll make sure that you get juiced up with plenty of caffeine, so that you can tackle the day without getting all that drowsy. Of course you just can’t call a Ferrari themed espresso machine an espresso machine, no, you must call it the Racepresso. The machine was actually made to resemble the Formula 1 racer, Michael Schumacher’s Ferrari helmet. When the front is closed it does just look like a racing helmet, but as soon as you pop open that front it starts looking a whole lot more like an espresso machine. This was a design made by Ilgar Rustamov. As of right now it is just a concept design and there’s no word if it’ll be making its way to retailers anytime soon
