It would be nice if after all these years we finally each had real lightsabers.  Pathetically, despite that the first movie came out a touch over 30 years ago, scientists still haven’t managed to do that.  They’re far too busy creating studies on how the internet is damaging our brains or corrupting the youth.  Well since we can’t carry real lightsabers, you might as well carry a small toy one that has one almost practical function. The Mini Bomb Speaker

Alright, so I’m aware it’s a touch on the strange side to put a light inside of a bright orange cheese grater.  However, being a person who has a tendency to wander the house at night, it’s always nice to have a dim light going in the kitchen.  Then if you’re going to keep a light in the kitchen, you might as well make it a light that looks like it belongs in the kitchen. It does make sense, but I realize that it does take a little extra work to justify it.  What doesn’t really help matters any is the price.  After all, one could pick up a light, a cheese grater and some orange spray paint and do the job themselves.  Items that could easily enough be done on your own always are more difficult to stomach the price tag.  This isn’t helping matters any though by costing you £29.00 or about $47.  It’s not a horrifying price, but it still seems like a bit much.  You can find yourself one of these cute lamps through The Conran Shop . If you’re going to have a nightlight hanging out to scare away all those things that go bump in the night, you might as well be honest about why it’s being used.  With this you can declare to the world your ghost light is there to keep all the ghosts away.  He’s the friendly type of ghost that lights up your bedroom just enough while still allowing you to sleep. This little guy is called a glow in the dark nightlight, but it does actually need plugged in to stay powered.  Just sit these on an end table or hang them from the ceiling.  Although they are just a little on the bulky side as far as nightlights go.  Right now these are actually only available through the designer’s website.  That also means you’ll have to contact them to find out pricing information.  Hopefully soon these cute little ghosts will be a little more easily accessible.
