The iPhone 4 antenna issue has put 3rd party gadget companies into a frenzy. Apple’s screw up means that they have an opportunity to profit off of it with accessories promising to solve the problem. However, the ones created that were only capable of taking care of that singular problem might not do so well now that Apple has started to ship free bumpers. This particular accessory was a little smarter about things though. It can actually be used for more than just the iPhone 4. Just pop your phone onto the wrist strap and you easily have it within sight. It also means women that happen to be lacking pockets that day can have another alternative besides carrying the phone in your purse. The WristOffice isn’t the solution for everyone, but it could make it easier to use a smart phone when your hands are also busy doing other things. Of course this little accessory still doesn’t exactly make texting while driving entirely safe

The whole world seems to be obsessed with how much things cost, and the same applies to the iPhone 4. For other countries where the smartphone is not available officially yet, folks who want first mover advantage to pick up an unlocked handset will have to fork out up to $1,000 for it, which is plain insanity if you ask us. It gets worse after you realize that the iPhone 4 costs all of just $188 to build, sans marketing and promotion dollars of course.

Alright so this does look highly similar to the joke remote controls that you give anyone turning 40 or 50, but this does have a lot of useful qualities. When you’re half blind, you might want a cellphone that allows for you to read the numbers easily. If an elderly person normally has to whip out the reading glasses to read the numbers, then this would save them the hassle.

Still, it would be nice to see the company stay in business just to keep all the other players on their toes as you never know who might come up with the next “iPhone”, so to speak.

When the iPhone was first released a few years ago, the whole world was abuzz with anticipation on how Apple would be able to an above-average cellphone experience to the masses, and I must admit, we weren’t disappointed. Heck, expectations were so high that folks even queued up outside the store for a couple of days before its release, willing to fork out a whopping $599 outright for the handset (and that is even before one takes into consideration the monthly fees). Well, the iPhone has certainly come a long way since its release with incremental upgrades and updates introduced along the way, and it seems as though this smartphone is able to do just about anything (save for stemming pollution around the world).

If my cellphone happens to survive being dropped in the sink, I’m about as happy as can be. Apparently, I’ve been setting my standards way too low when it comes to the underwater capabilities of my cellphone. If you’re not quite satisfied with your phone just surviving a dip in the water, you should check out the Alpha UWCP that allows for you to talk on the phone while you’re out diving. The Neptune Space full face mask has a microphone and speaker built into it. The mask is then wired to a 40 meter cable that is wired to the box within the buoy. That cable can be modified upon request if 40 meters isn’t to your liking and the cable can also be detached from the diver if they choose. The buoy is plenty stable due to a water reserve bottom pocket. Within it is a top pocket that provides a secure spot for the box. That box is water resistant and can be connected by Bluetooth to a cellphone. It functions on a 9V alkaline battery. The entire thing will cost you $1,790 from Sky Mall .

I remember back in the day where Bluetooth just kicked off, and having a cellphone with Bluetooth connectivity, much less a Bluetooth headset, was considered to be high end. Fast forward a few years and we have Bluetooth technology embedded in just about most entry-level handsets and above. This is a good thing as well since more and more countries have outlawed drivers from talking on the phone while on the road unless they have a hands-free kit of sorts, which is where Bluetooth headsets come in handy.
