For those of you that have a smartphone of some kind, you might want a more convenient way to watch all of those videos. Sure, you could just hold onto it, but that’s not nearly as much fun. It’s much nicer to just kick back and pretend you’re back home sitting on your comfortable couch watching a movie on your TV. Well thankfully although this stand will make your phone look a little creepy, it’ll make it so that you can watch videos while you’re away from home in true comfort. These Spiderpodiums are extremely lightweight and are compact enough to slip into your pocket. It’s compatible with most compact handheld devices. That includes things like normal cellphones, smartphones, gaming systems, MP3 players, camcorders and even portable projectors. These aren’t out just yet, but they are available for pre-order. They’ll cost you £14.99 or about $23 and will be out on March 29th. Source: ChipChick Coolest Gadgets UK – For all your UK centric tech and gadget news.

If you prefer to enjoy your music while you’re soaking in the tub, this is one speaker that can bob along in the water right with you. It doesn’t just sit on a shelf at a safe distance away from the water, this round speaker can dive into the bathwater and still play your favorite music loud and clear. Which is a bonus for those of you that have the tendency to clumsily knock your electronics into bodies of water. The MP3 player has an alarm clock, an FM tuner and stereo speakers. On the inside of the protective waterproof cover you can plug in an SD/SDHC card (up to 32GB) or a USB drive. The round speaker can run an SD card for 13 hours, a USB drive for 9 hours and the radio for 28 hours. In order to keep it up and running it requires 6 AA batteries. With having that many it’d definitely be a whole lot more convenient to pick up some rechargeable batteries. It’s priced at about $120 , but unfortunately it’s a Japan product. Which means it might be a little difficult to get your hands on

We’ve all heard that we need to unplug our electronics entirely instead of just turning them off. That way all of those small lights on your devices are completely off as well. Of course even knowing that information, sometimes you just forget. Then on top of it that means later on you have plugs lying on the floor to plug back into the wall. Instead of that mess you could use one of these that makes it so that the outlet itself is turned off. You do still have the issue of having to remember to turn off the outlet. However, it’s one less issue for you to worry about. The more convenient it is to be eco-friendly the more likely you are to do all of the right things. These outlets were designed by Daun Yun and Junil Choi, so that does mean that it is still at the concept point. Of course it would be a little obnoxious to have only one plug in on the switch. However, if it were turned into a double switch it’d work out nicely. When the microwave oven was first released, it did change the way we live in many aspects. No longer do you need to wait for hours on end for something frozen to thaw, and heating food up takes but a couple of minutes under the high power setting. While there are certain quarters that claim eating microwaved food isn’t exactly the most healthy way to go, who wants to live forever anyways, right?

This is one of those accessories you buy only after you’ve given up on looking remotely cool. Once that is all taken care of, this could be a handy item to have around. For those that are slightly more fashion concsious you might want to continue your search elsewhere. This accessory would defeinitely make things more convenient when you’re stuck sitting and waiting somewhere. Of course there are times that it’d be easy to just have a stand for it. However, not all of the places you’ll be will have some kind of table top for you to place that stand on. For those situations when there isn’t a table, just wrap this strap around your leg and you can watch your iPhone hands-free. It can be swiveled so that you can watch your iPhone in different positions. What’s hilarious is they suggest this for commuters or truckers. Frankly, the thought of a trucker using this does terrify me a bit. You can purchase the strap for $30 .

I always appreciate the awesome designs that are completely mind blowing. However, sometimes it’s nice to show a little appreciation for the simpler designs. After all, they are the ones you’re more likely to see hitting the stores and making your day to day life a little bit more convenient on a regular basis. Yes, the over the top designs have their purpose, but so do the everyday ones. This clock definitely falls under the simpler designs, but it would make things a little easier. Hang it on the wall and then you can write down quick notes for you or your loved ones.
