USB flash drives are dime a dozen, and we know that most of you already own more USB flash drives than you care via trade shows and conventions.

It’s funny how you can see something and it just so strongly reminds you of something else you’ve seen before, like this very subtle Golden Robot USB Drive that I just can’t seem to put my finger on. Every time I glance at it I just hear this annoying voice yammering off a bunch of ridiculous survival statistics. It’s just the strangest reaction. Clearly this robot is nothing more than a gold robot and that’s it. Alright, so it’s obvious they were just trying to dodge having to give George Lucas some royalties by not coming out and calling this robot C-3PO. What’s odd is that this is actually a little nicer than some of the C-3PO toys I’ve spotted. By just skipping out on the facial features it makes this one look a little more well made. A lot of times if you don’t think you can do something right, by just skipping that entirely it makes things look a whole lot less cheesy. You can pick up the 4GB USB drive for $25 through Gadget4all . Book lights are very handy for big time book lovers, but only every now and then. I don’t know of anyone that uses it on a daily basis. That often means that it gets forgotten in the bottom drawer and you leave it with a dead battery for far too long just due to not thinking of it. This Starlite USB Rechargeable Light has a little bit of an edge in that area. Not only does it function as a book light, but it’s also a desk lamp. Sure, it’s not a large desk lamp, but when you’re not using it to clip onto your favorite book it can be used for small tasks. Plus, I absolutely love that it charges up through the USB port, because it means that you’re not stuck remembering to make a battery trip. Beyond that it’s a very basic light, but it has all the best features to make sure that you’ll get a whole lot of use out of it. You can pick one up for $25 through the MoMA Store

Do you happen to own a netbook that you absolutely love, but there is just one thing which bugs you – it lacks an optical disc drive that could make it harder than usual to install new programs? Well, there is also the other problem of not being able to burn copies of data from your netbook simply because the netbook itself lacks an optical disc drive! Apricorn aims to solve this problem by offering their very own EZ Writer II ultra-portable Dual Layer DVD burner

Who would have thought that something as cute and sweet like Hello Kitty could actually be turned into another geeky product? Enter the Hello Kitty Nerd Kitty MIMOBOT , one of the latest MIMOBOT flash drives to join the family. Retailing for $34.95 a pop, she will throw away her make up kit as well as pretty accessories, and will instead come decked out in thick-rimmed black spectacles, a pocket protector, and a checkered bow on her head.
