Growin Up Speaker System

If you’re tired of all of your speakers lacking any organic gadget feel, then this speaker system should be a nice change.  Instead of trying to look like every other cutting edge speaker system out there, these take a cue from the trees.  This system makes it so that it looks like a bright white trunk is slowly growing up from the floor and the speakers sprout out of the side of the trunk. The bright white contrasted with the black gives the set a very modern feel, all the while still being earthy.  It’ll give you the best of both worlds.  The low tone speakers are closer to the ground, while the high pitched sounds go towards the top.  They’re capable of being stacked together or even used separately.  These speakers are a concept design by Marcos Ignacio Madia.  That also means that these will probably be a little hard to get your hands on

The BXR 1221 2.1 Altec Lansing Speaker System

If you’re on the lookout for a new set of speakers, Altec has a good looking set.  It’s not excessively different from any other set of speakers that you can pick up for your computer.  However, it’s just enough to make your computer look a little more interesting.  The shape itself is enough to make it stand out from the crowd without resorting to bright colors or odd themes. The set comes with 2 speakers and a subwoofer.  It’d work great for either your desktop computer or even your laptop.  It has built-in power and volume control directly on the speaker.  The 4-inch subwoofer is said to offer powerful bass and clear highs.  It only comes in black, so if you were hoping for options, I’m afraid you’re out of luck.  You can purchase the set for $29.95 through Amazon . A-25 XL2 brings a legend back to life

Way back in 1969, the original A-25 was unleashed to the unsuspecting world by Dynaco, and the next decade that followed the A-25’s release made it one of the most popular high-end speakers to date, moving over one million units.

Speakal miSoccer speaker system

You know that a particular market is extremely lucrative when there are tons of competition out there, case in point speaker systems as well as docking stations for the iPod family, all jostling for a slice of the financial pie assuming their product makes it to the best selling list. Speakal has such similar dreams of their own as well, having recently rolled out their latest addition from its family of High Fidelity Audio Speakers and iPod Docking stations, known as the miSoccer speaker system . Talk about a speaker system that has a kick of its own – it will also make a great gift idea for those who are absolutely nuts about soccer as the World Cup Finals will be held in South Africa next summer.

The iHome iPod Docks get a Barbie theme

Instead of coming out with tons of fancy new models to add to their iHome collection, iHome is just adding a new finish for their old players.  This one to make their various iPod docks appeal to a much younger crowd.  Also a much younger very female bunch.  The ones that still love those tiny plastic Barbie shoes and find Ken’s bright white smile to be absolutely dreamy.  Thankfully they come in a range of sizes and prices to appeal to any parent’s budget.

Fruity Speakers take inspiration from nature

Here’s a speaker that would probably appeal to anyone that’s grown tired of the average look that many speakers feature.  It’s designed to take an almost organic form, which honestly is hard to see.  However, no matter what the inspiration of the product, it at the very least ended up looking very cool.  When hung on the wall, it would draw about as much attention as an intriguing painting would. The speaker system is made up of 6 different speakers and two touchscreens.  It’s compatible with the usual forms of media, including MP3 players and CD players.  The designer shows it off in not only the very chic white, but in a very bright attention getting pink.  The design was created by Yue Li, who is from France.  As of now, it’s still a design, but would make for a fun product to have around, if it ever reached the production stage of things.
