I have a daughter, who is interested in all things pink and cute. She’s seven years old and lives in a My Little Pony, Care Bear, and Littlest Pet Shop world, and so this Barbie B-Smart laptop is just for her. The B-Smart Laptop isn’t an actual laptop, but to a little girl though, it’s probably better than a MacBook

We’ve looked at the Hexbug in the past before, but here is an updated version – the Hexbug Nano . Judging by its name, you know that this newer model will come in a smaller form factor, where all you need to do is turn it on and it will start to move about randomly just like a standard bug, so make sure mom isn’t around otherwise she might just stomp on this £8.99 purchase, mistakenly thinking that it is some sort of critter banned from the home. Should your Hexbug Nano run into an obstacle, it will flip over and move on in another direction

If you prefer your USB drives to be incredibly adorable, this turtle is the trick. He’ll lovingly store all of your necessary files and look cute doing it. What more could you ask for? Sure, some might claim it’s not the most adult looking USB drive, but not everyone wants to be stuck with a plain looking drive. Plus, if you have any kids they’d probably fall in love with the drive as well. Then again, that might be a bad thing once they start stealing it and hiding it in with their toys. The drive itself is pretty basic, it’s made out of durable silicone casing to make sure that the turtle will last a little while. After all turtles are supposed to be tough, hopefully it doesn’t have all of the turtle type of characteristics. No one likes a slow USB drive. On the drive it’ll hold a whole 4GB of all of your pictures and random word documents. It doesn’t come at a bad price either. You can pick it up for $20 through USB Geek

So what is this man doing here? Would you believe that he is playing music? I first heard about the Beamz Interactive Music System from the CES Show Directory, but I missed the chance to visit their booth.

Okay, let’s say that you are a big Hollywood studio, and you plan to release a big budget moneymaker like Iron Man 2 this summer. I’m sure that film will make a whole slew of money no matter how good it is, but with merchandise, you can make even more money

Some of you might remember Alphie, a toy from the 80s that used to be advertised by Joan Lunden. (Just be glad I couldn’t find a video of that ad on YouTube, or you would know the meaning of death by sugary kindness!) Alphie was a toy that used index cards and buttons to teach math, colors, as well as other basic skills. I believe that if the tyke got the question right, Alphie’s clown face would light up

I thought I’d give you readers at Coolest Gadgets a Friday treat with the CubeStormer. The CubeStormer was designed by British engineer Mike Dobson, and it is made up of parts from several Lego Mindstorms sets connected to a computer. It is designed to solve a Rubik’s cube faster than any one of those cubists back in the early eighties

Men seem to be losing their masculinity for many reasons, and more husbands are now hen-pecked than ever before. Could this have something to do with the lack of more macho toys for boys? If you want little Johnny to grow up being testosterone filled, then the Sharpshooter remote controlled helicopter might be just the thing

Folks who love nothing better than a good puzzle to wind down after a hard day’s work will find the Addictaball to be a decent alternative, as it comes in a small and large version to cater to different needs (at different prices, of course). This handheld game is not battery powered (now that’s a change!), which means you won’t get any fancy sound effects or flashing lights to go along with it.

Flying the Millennium Falcon is a childhood dream for many. All different generations have become serious fans of the famous ship. Well now you can fly your very own, sure it won’t be making it into space anytime soon, but you can fly one. You’ll just have to stay on the ground and watch it float through the air. It’s pretty close to the next best thing. This flying machine is intended to be used indoors and measures 11 inches long by 8 inches wide. You can take this detailed flying machine for a spin through your living room and control it through the charging controller. Through that controller and vehicle battery you can fly for up to five minutes at a time. It probably won’t be the fastest flying machine out there, but it’ll at least get you a little entertainment. It’ll become available this fall and at that point will cost $49.99
