I just got finished reporting about a pinball machine that you can control with your mind at CeBIT , and that, in my opinion, is a good use for brain-interface technology. Now, you are about to see a bad one

This is an odd way to play pinball, don’t you think? Shouldn’t this man be standing in front of the machine?

We have reported on the Lil Guppie before , and I suppose that this is the next step up, the Guppie. Actually, I think that this Guppie is the same as the Lil Guppie, just like Lil Bow Wow is the same as Bow Wow

We’ve already talked about how a mirror at a Japanese store can show customers what make-up looks like without putting it on their faces. This conceptual ad campaign from Nooka also uses augmented reality, and it shows how a watch will look like without actually wearing it. As you can see by the video, Nooka wants to put this weird paper band in major magazines.

My wife loves to watch The Biggest Loser , but I really can’t stand it. I suppose that I should cheer these obese people while they lose weight, but like most reality shows, The Biggest Loser has so much unnecessary drama. The Biggest Loser also does a lot of very obvious product placement

Sure, I love covering robots here on Coolest Gadgets, and this particular one from Fujisoft is the Palro. I can only assume that this is some sort of blend of the words “Pal” and “Robot”.

It isn’t very often that I cover ovens on Coolest Gadgets, but it isn’t every oven that has a 7-inch full-color touchscreen LCD. This 30 inch Double Wall Oven with V2 Vertical Dual-Fan Convection System by Jenn-Air has an incorporated cooking guide to help those cooking.

Now that the iPad has been formally announced , let’s take it a step further with this iDesk. Actually, the technology that you see in this picture is called the Pictionaire, and it is under development by Microsoft Research and the University of California, Berkeley. As you can see from the attached video after the jump, this 4 x 6 foot table has a camera mounted above it, much like the futuristic hexagonal-type board game that we reported on yesterday

I don’t know why iFrogz calls its headphones series Ear Pollution, because doesn’t that imply that it is harmful to your ears? This would be the one time that you don’t want to heed the toxic symbol on each ear, because the CS40 puts out some quality audio. However, the CS40 Comfort Series is aptly named as the headphones are quite comfortable to wear

What you see there is the toilet of the future called the Home Core. Designed by Dang Jingwei, this futuristic commode was made for space conservation. As you might be able to tell, the toilet actually comes with a sink attached
