We covered the official announcement of the Kinect at E3 , and I would imagine that game designers are going nuts to create new worlds of interactivity for Xbox 360 gamers. Peter Molyneux, designer of famed video games franchises like Black and White and Fable has created a new game called Milo and Kate, which crosses into a very realistic realm of gaming. In the game, the player gets to “mentor” a boy named Milo or a girl named Kate.

I’m sure that you know that I have been at E3 all week, and I got back late yesterday. Yes, I saw a lot of great things, and reported about them all week. I can honestly say that I didn’t try out the Kinect from Microsoft or the Nintendo 3DS because the lines were too long

Gaming in the dark is always way more fun than with the lights on. Especially if you’re into horror games. Well for those of you that prefer your games be played with the lights off, you should pick up one of these controllers. In the daylight they just look like a strange little controller, but at night their lights will shine bright enough to give a mini light show. The Afterglow Controller works well with the Xbox 360 and appears to come in 3 different colors. However, you can’t actually choose a color, the color shipped to you will be chosen at random. I’m not sure I’d like that a whole lot, but I can’t say that I really dislike any of the 3 colors. Right now these can only be pre-ordered, but they’ll ship out as of the 23rd of this month. At that time it’ll cost you $29.99 per controller from EB Games . I was just looking at my Xbox 360 thinking that it didn’t look nearly shiny enough. Compared to a disco ball, it just doesn’t have enough pizazz. Thankfully the very wise CrystalRoc have quickly changed that. They set aside a bit of time to make sure that their Xbox 360 was well covered with Swarovski crystals. To be specific it is covered in 11,520 Swarovski crystals. It took a grand total of 70 hours to put on every single one of those tiny crystals. Of course I doubt that most people will ever get to even see one of these in person, much less even touch one. At least you’ll have an extremely shiny picture just in case you need to quickly distract someone. Rock Band and Guitar Hero are great rhythm-based games, no doubt about that, but how about upping the ante when it comes to realism? Seven45 Studios has released its guitar gaming controller that boasts half a dozen strings, functioning not only as a regular gaming controller for their Power Gig: Rise of the SixString title, but it also doubles up as an actual electric guitar which can be plugged into an amp. Both the game and guitar will be sold together, where experienced guitarists can go for the option of chording, which in turn is a whole lot more challenging and requires specific finger placement on the strings
